James Rimmer has extensive experience in the IT industry, spanning over 15 years. James is currently working as a Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer at GAP Ltd since March 2021. Prior to this, they worked as an IT Infrastructure Team Leader at TVS Supply Chain Solutions from September 2016 to February 2021. Before that, James held the position of a Windows Server Infrastructure Engineer at Various Companies from April 2014 to September 2016. James also worked as an IT Systems Specialist at Newcastle College Group from August 2011 to April 2014, where they were part of a dynamic IT Development team supporting a large network of Microsoft servers. James began their career as an IT Server/ Desktop Support Engineer, working as an IT Contractor from September 2005 to August 2011.

James Rimmer's education history includes several academic qualifications and certifications. James attended Leeds Beckett University from 2002 to 2005, where they obtained a BSc (Hons) degree in Computing with a specialization in Software Engineering. Prior to that, they studied at Runshaw College from 2000 to 2002 and obtained a Dual AVCE in ICT. From 1995 to 2000, James attended Bishop Rawstorne CE Language College, although the degree achieved and field of study during this time is unknown.

In addition to their academic education, James has also obtained various certifications. James also received an ITIL® Foundation certificate in IT Service Management from AXELOS Global Best Practice in 2015. In 2007, James obtained an OCR Level 3 Certificate for IT Practitioners (ICT Systems Support) from OCR, and in 2006, they earned a Level 2 Diploma for IT Practitioners (ICT Systems Support) from City & Guilds. Furthermore, James obtained a GCSE in Information Studies from ULEAC in 2000.
