Melanie Magna, CPA, CMA, has over 10 years of experience in the finance industry. Melanie began their career in 2009 as a Customer Service Representative for Bank of Montreal. In 2010, they moved to Butterfield Fulcrum as a Senior Fund Accountant. In 2013, they joined OpenText as a Financial Analyst, Business Planning & Analysis. In 2014, they became a Senior Accountant for Demeure. In 2015, they were hired as a Controller for Fibernetics. In 2017, they began working for Sortable as a Senior Manager, Finance and Controller. Most recently, in 2021, they were appointed Director of Finance for General Assembly Pizza.

Melanie Magna is a CPA, CMA with an education history that includes a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Guelph (2006-2009) and a certification from the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada (CPA Canada) from 2010-2013. Melanie also holds a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certification from the Certified Management Accountants of Ontario.
