Shadia Daniels

Shadia Daniels is an experienced educational leader with a robust background in curriculum development and instructional management. Currently serving as a Senior Instructor Manager at General Assembly since November 2021, Shadia forecasts team needs and facilitates onboarding for instructional staff in software engineering, UX, and product management. Previously, Shadia held various positions over 11 years at Chicago Public Schools, including Career and Technical Education | Business and IT Cluster Manager, where responsibilities encompassed managing a substantial budget and supporting over 70 teachers and 5,000 students. Shadia's prior roles also include instructional positions at prominent institutions such as Northwestern University and Code.org, where courses in Computer Science and technology were developed and delivered. Shadia holds multiple advanced degrees in literacy education and technology in education, alongside a bachelor's degree in education from Miami University.
