Josh Stabiner

Chief Information Security Officer at General Atlantic

Josh Stabiner has an extensive work experience in the field of information security and technology. Josh started their career at Ernst & Young in 2005 as a Senior Manager, leading cyber threat management advisory services for the financial services sector. In 2014, they worked as a Guest Scientist at Los Alamos National Laboratory in collaboration with EY, and later joined Pine River Capital Management as a Managing Director, Chief Information Security Officer, and Head of IT Infrastructure. In 2016, they served as the Chairman of the Alternative Investors Council at FS-ISAC. Josh then moved on to General Atlantic in 2018, where they took on the role of Chief Information Security Officer. In 2019, they became a Venture Advisor at YL Ventures. Most recently, they are working as a Cybersecurity Advisory Board Member at Pace University - Seidenberg School of Computer Science and Information Systems.

Josh Stabiner obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Computer Science from Dartmouth College, from 2003 to 2005. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Computer Science from Dartmouth College, from 1999 to 2003. In addition to their formal education, they also obtained the CISSP certification from ISC2 in March 2007.
