Lance Uggla

Lance Uggla is a prominent figure in the financial services industry, currently serving as Co-Founder of BeyondNetZero since March 2022 and Vice Chair at General Atlantic since February 2024. Previously, Uggla was the Founder and CEO of IHS Markit from January 2018 to April 2022, and the Founder and CEO of Markit from 2003 to 2016, where the establishment of the first daily CDS pricing service marked an important innovation in the credit default swap market. Uggla's earlier career included roles as Vice Chair and Head of Europe and Asia at TD Securities from 1995 to 2001, and Vice Chair and Head of Global Sales and Trading at CIBC World Markets from 1986 to 1995.
