Steve Fournier is a seasoned professional specializing in additive manufacturing and engineering management. Currently serving as Sr. Manager of the Additive Manufacturing Department at General Atomics Aeronautical Systems since September 2018, Steve leads initiatives to integrate additive manufacturing technologies to enhance operational efficiencies. Prior experience includes teaching additive manufacturing at De Anza College and holding various roles at KLA-Tencor, where responsibilities spanned business development and program management for additive manufacturing technologies in the semiconductor sector. Steve also founded Makernest, a consulting group focused on maximizing benefits from 3D printing technologies. Additional experience includes project management and engineering roles at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, Coherent, and Measurement Microsystems Inc. Steve holds a M.A.Sc in Engineering (Photonics) from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Physics from Université Laval.
