Shelly Stem

Shelly Stem is an accomplished technology professional with extensive experience in leadership roles. Currently serving as Executive Director of Information Technology at the General Board of Higher Education and Ministry since March 1993, Shelly provides strategic insight while overseeing detailed project involvement and team dynamics. In March 2024, a position as Senior Director of Technology at the General Board of Global Ministries was assumed. Additionally, Shelly has been the Chief Executive Officer of Padgett Business Services Franklin since June 2022, where the focus is on client satisfaction and supporting small business success. Previous roles include Partner at Padgett Business Services from May 2001 to August 2007 and Data Coordinator at HCA International from January 1990 to March 1993. Education includes a Bachelor of Science in Integrated Studies from Middle Tennessee State University and an Associate of Science in Information Technology from Columbia State Community College.
