Charles May

Charles May is a highly experienced Senior Systems Engineer with a career spanning several defense industry roles, currently leading the Sensors & Weapons Team for the LCS Ship Program at General Dynamics Mission Systems since February 2009. Previous roles include senior engineering positions at General Dynamics Land Systems and BAE Systems, where expertise in systems integration for military vehicles and acceptance testing of combat systems was developed. Charles has extensive consulting experience as Technical Director at Alpha Scientific Laboratories and held various positions within the US Navy, culminating in a rank of Commander. Charles holds a Bachelor of Science in Systems Engineering from the United States Naval Academy and a Master of Science in Technology Management from the University of Maryland Global Campus.
