Chris Taggart

Chris Taggart is a Senior Business Manager at General Dynamics AIS, focusing on the capture and development of programs related to autonomous maritime systems and undersea networks since October 2008. Previously, Chris served as Chief Engineer for Undersea Systems, overseeing technical direction in undersea networks, submarine combat systems, and unmanned undersea vehicles. Chris has extensive leadership experience in the US Navy Reserve, holding roles such as Engineering Duty Officer, where executive leadership was provided for the Office of Naval Research reserve program, and Commanding Officer for multiple naval reserve units. Educational achievements include a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from North Carolina State University and advanced degrees from the University of Washington and University of Rochester.
