Lisa Finneran

Lisa Finneran is an accomplished engineering leader with extensive experience in the defense and technology sectors. Currently serving as Vice President of Engineering at General Dynamics Mission Systems since August 2018, Lisa oversees nearly 6,000 engineers across over 100 sites, focusing on innovative solutions for combat vehicles, submarines, aircraft, satellites, and unmanned platforms. Previously, in a role as Director of Submarine Systems at the same company, Lisa directed strategic warfare system solutions for the U.S. From 1988 to 2003, Lisa held the position of Senior Vice President and Chief Technical Officer at the Software Productivity Consortium, where responsibilities included managing development and enhancing technical processes for member companies. Lisa began a career in software engineering as a Software Engineer at SofTech from 1985 to 1989. Lisa holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Virginia Tech, earned in 1985.
