Safee Idrees

Safee Idrees is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in sales and strategy within the telecommunications and satellite communications sectors. Currently serving as Director of Sales and Strategy for Asia, Middle East, and North Africa at Communications & Power Industries since June 2020, Safee has a proven track record of driving significant sales growth in a $10B+ manufacturing environment. Prior to this role, Safee held a similar position at General Dynamics Mission Systems, overseeing a sales strategy that generated $31M in revenue. Experience also includes leadership roles at VoixGlobal and iBasis, where Safee focused on business development and partnerships in the telecom sector across Asia and the Middle East. Early career experience includes a technical role as a Field Application Engineer at Dialogic. Safee holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
