VP & General Manager, Land & Air Systems at General Dynamics Mission Systems

Scott Dunderdale is vice president and general manager for General Dynamics Mission Systems’ Land & Air Systems line of business.

Land & Air Systems is an industry leading provider of mission critical networks, command and control systems, training and simulation capabilities, advanced signals intelligence and electronic warfare systems, and open architecture high assurance computing for military customers worldwide for defense customers worldwide.

Programs and business efforts within the line of business include the U.S. Army’s Tactical Network Transport (TNT) programs, Common Hardware Systems (CHS-5) program, Mounted Mission Command Transport (MMC-T) program, and a suite of mission command systems that includes the Army’s Tactical Airspace Integration System (TAIS). Land & Air Systems also designs and manufactures Assured Positioning, Navigation and Timing (A-PNT) solutions, ground-to-air radio products, rugged mission and display computers, and stores management systems for a wide range of aircraft and ground platforms.

Previously, Mr. Dunderdale served as the vice president of the Mission Command Networks business area for the former Ground Systems line of business. He also served as the vice president for Networked Computing Systems, overseeing a portfolio that included the U.S. Army CHS program, the U.S. Army Tactical Airspace Integration System program, the U.S. Marine Corps Common Aviation Command and Control System program, and the U.S. SOCOM Ground Mobility Vehicle 1.1 program.

Mr. Dunderdale served seven years as a U.S. Army officer and UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter pilot after receiving his bachelor’s degree in engineering management from the United States Military Academy at West Point. He also holds an Master of Business Administration degree from Northeastern University.
