Lindsay Smothers

Lindsay Smothers, CISA, is an experienced IT governance and audit professional currently serving as the IT Governance Manager at General Dynamics since November 2022. Prior to this role, Lindsay was the Vice President of Internal Audit at Morgan Stanley from April 2021 to November 2022 and held various positions including Audit Senior Manager and IT Audit Manager at E*TRADE between March 2014 and April 2021. Lindsay's career began at Grant Thornton LLP, where roles included Manager and Associate/Senior Associate from January 2009 to February 2014. Lindsay's early experience also includes working as an Accounting Assistant at the University of Florida Athletic Association. Lindsay holds a Master's degree in Information Systems and Operations Management and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, both from the University of Florida.
