Finally, in 2021, they began working at General Informatics as a System Engineer, where their responsibilities include assisting with client IT needs onsite or remotely including PC hardware, software, printers, servers, management of shoretel phone system, Active Directory, Microsoft Office Administration, networking, patch management of pcs and servers, interviewing potential IT techs for the company, and supervising IT techs at the location they are stationed at.
Sean Hairston received a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) from Mississippi State University in 2003, majoring in Business Information Systems. In 2020, they obtained a CompTIA Network+ certification from CompTIA. In 2021, they obtained a Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) certification from Microsoft, and in 2023, they obtained three Fortinet Network Security Expert certifications from Fortinet.
