Emily Wai Yi Cheng

Emily Cheng is an experienced Project Manager currently at the General Medical Council since May 2023. Previously, Emily held the role of Clinical Research Interface Manager at Genomics England from September 2021 to May 2023, where responsibilities included designing and leading projects to enhance research and healthcare collaboration, automating internal operations, and training junior team members. Prior to that, Emily worked at the Hospital Authority from August 2013 to March 2021 in various pharmacist roles, focusing on project management for chemotherapy modules, coordinating pharmacy operations, and providing clinical consultations. Emily holds a Master’s Degree in Clinical Pharmacy and a Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy from The University of Hong Kong.
