Nicola While is an experienced strategic engagement professional currently serving as the Strategic Engagement Manager for Europe and international affairs at the General Medical Council since August 2013. In this role, Nicola has successfully led planning and risk mitigation strategies regarding the UK's exit from the EU, while actively engaging with key political decision-makers to influence policy impacting UK medical regulation. Nicola holds a Master's degree in International Politics from the Centre Européen de Recherches Internationales et Stratégiques and a First Class BA (Hons) in European Studies and French from The University of Manchester, along with several qualifications in leadership and management.
