Paula Robblee has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Paula began their career as a Research Associate at the University of Ottawa Heart Institute and Bratislava Comenius University in 1998. In 2000, they gained experience as an Internship/Stagiare at the European Commission. Paula then joined the General Medical Council in 2004, starting as a Policy Analyst, where they led the equality and diversity work program and the research program within the GMC research policy. Paula later became a Policy Manager, leading policy development and implementation in key education areas, and eventually progressed to the role of Head of Section. In this position, they led a team of ten people, producing and implementing policies to better regulate and support the medical education and workforce sectors. Paula prioritized the organization's corporate strategy, equality, diversity, and inclusion commitments, and wider sector requirements. Throughout their career, Paula Robblee has demonstrated strong leadership skills, effective management structures, and a commitment to fostering inclusive and empowered decision-making.
Paula Robblee obtained their Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Ottawa. Paula later pursued a Master's degree in Health policy and research from the University of Kent. Paula also holds a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Health Psychology from UCL, which they earned between 2022 and 2024. Paula also completed a Certificate of Proficiency in Law from the College of Law and a Legal Practice Course from the College of Law.
