Grant Betzig

Grant Betzig is an experienced packaging engineer with a robust background in the packaging industry. Currently serving as an R&D Packaging Engineer II at General Mills since December 2018, Grant previously held the position of Packaging Engineering Manager at Lidl US, where significant contributions included the establishment of Lidl's Packaging Department and the successful development of over 600 shelf-ready packaging structures in preparation for the store launch. Prior roles include Associate Packaging Engineer at Target, where Grant identified substantial cost savings and sustainability opportunities, and positions at Equity Packaging and Mondelēz International, focusing on packaging development and specifications alignment. Grant's career began with practical experience as a Packaging Scientist Intern at Mars Chocolate North America, contributing to a U.S. patent for packaging design. An alumnus of Michigan State University, Grant holds a Bachelor of Science in Packaging.
