Sylvia Matzke-Hill

Sylvia Matzke-Hill is an experienced R&D Scientist II at General Mills since August 2020, focusing on cost optimization, development, and commercialization of custom bakery mixes in the NAF Baking category. Prior to this role, Sylvia worked at Buffalo Wild Wings from 2015 to 2018, leading international product development for Latin America, the Middle East, and Asia Pacific, and aligning food and beverage strategies. Sylvia also served as a Marketing Brand Manager at Schwan's Company from 2013 to 2015, where strategic growth plans and brand positioning were key responsibilities. Earlier in the career at Buffalo Wild Wings from 2007 to 2013, Sylvia was the Director of Product Development and Menu Innovation, where annual food strategies and new product offerings were developed. Sylvia holds a BS in Food Science & Technology - Engineering from the University of Minnesota, with additional certification in Food Quality and Food Safety from The Culinary Institute of America.
