Matthew Hill

Matthew Hill, MBA, is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in automotive finance and risk management, currently serving as Vice President and Executive General Manager of Retail Credit Operations for GM Financial's Chinese Joint Venture since February 2013. Matthew is adept in overseeing the entire retail credit lifecycle and managing a team of over 350 employees. Previous roles include Vice President and Senior Risk Officer for Asia Pacific Operations, where responsibilities encompassed consumer and commercial credit risk management, and Director of Risk Administration, overseeing credit risk governance across international operations. Matthew's earlier career at Ally involved various leadership positions, including Quality Control Manager and Operational Controls Manager, after starting as a Credit Analyst. Educational qualifications include an MBA from Robert Morris University and a Data Analytics certificate from Cornell University, complemented by a Bachelor of Arts in International Economics from Assumption University. Additionally, Matthew served on the Board of Junior Achievement of Southeastern Michigan from 2016 to 2022.
