Melissa Mata Murphy

Melissa Mata Murphy has extensive experience in creative management and design, currently serving as Senior Manager of Brand & Multimedia at GM Financial since May 2015. In this role, Melissa leads a design team, manages creative processes, and oversees brand experience for consumer marketing related to Cadillac Financial and GM Financial. Previous positions include Senior Design Manager and Design Manager, focusing on internal communications and diversity branding initiatives. Before GM Financial, Melissa was the owner of Massie Design, providing freelance services to high-profile clients such as American Airlines and Celebrity Cruises. Additional experience includes roles as Sr. Art Director at RR Donnelley and Graphic Designer at J3 Group, where creative contributions supported various marketing initiatives. Melissa holds a Bachelor of Arts in Design from the University of Texas at Austin and a foundation degree in Business Management from the Texas McCombs School of Business.
