Ahmed H. El-Shaer

Ahmed H. EL-Shaer, PhD, is an accomplished Staff Software Engineer specializing in Advanced Chassis Controls at General Motors since September 2025. Prior to this role, Ahmed served as Lead Robotics Control Engineer at May Mobility, where responsibilities included ego state estimation, optimal trajectory synthesis, and adaptive cruise control development. As Principal Control Software Engineer at Motional, expertise was applied to nonlinear vehicle dynamics modeling and vehicle state estimation. Earlier experiences include roles at Dana Incorporated, Brooks Instrument, LineStream Technologies, HGST, Samsung Information Systems, and Lund University, with a focus on control systems and dynamics modeling across various industries.
