Jiabin Shen

Jiabin Shen, PhD, is a skilled software developer and engineer with extensive experience in the automotive and academic sectors. At General Motors, roles included Software Developer and Scrum Lead, as well as Software and Control Engineer and ATW Electrical Technologies Specialist. Prior to this, Jiabin Shen contributed as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Faculty of Applied Sciences at Simon Fraser University, also holding positions as a Teaching Assistant and Research Assistant. Additional experience includes serving as an Industrial Postdoc Researcher and Mitacs Intern at Ballard Power Systems and as a Research Assistant at Memorial University of Newfoundland. Jiabin Shen earned a PhD in Electrical Engineering (Power Electronics) from Simon Fraser University and a Master of Engineering in Power Systems from Memorial University.
