Joe Bitti is an experienced engineering professional specializing in autonomous systems and vehicle safety. Currently serving as Engineering Group Manager at General Motors since July 2021, Joe oversees autonomous technologies, controller development, body controls, and occupant system safety. Previous roles include DRE/PDT Lead at General Motors, Manager of Autonomous Core Development & Validation at Stellantis, and Engineering Group Manager for Autonomous Driving Vehicle Systems Validation at Aptiv. Joe's career began at DaimlerChrysler as a Product Release Engineer, followed by positions at Ford Motor Company and Boeing. Joe holds a degree in Electrical Engineering and a Master's in Engineering Management from Lawrence Technological University.
