Karl Leboeuf

Karl Leboeuf is a seasoned professional in product cybersecurity and embedded systems, currently serving as a Technical Fellow at General Motors since March 2013. Previous roles at General Motors include Domain Architect and Embedded Security Engineer within the Connected Systems Cybersecurity team. Karl's earlier experience includes contributing as an FPGA Embedded Hardware Designer and leading undergraduate instruction at the University of Windsor from 2007 to 2012. Core competencies encompass a wide range of technologies, including Xilinx ISE, Altera Quartus II, Verilog, MATLAB, and various digital signal processing methodologies. Karl holds a PhD, MASc, and BASc in Electrical Engineering from the University of Windsor, demonstrating a robust academic foundation complemented by practical research in image processing and GPU acceleration.
