Samir Agrawal

Samir Agrawal is a highly experienced engineering professional specializing in hardware engineering and compute architecture. Currently serving as the Director of Hardware Engineering for Compute and Connectivity at General Motors since June 2024, Agrawal leads initiatives related to semiconductors, high-performance compute, and simulation technologies. Prior to this role, Agrawal worked at Apple in hardware engineering and held the position of Sr. Director of Hardware Engineering at NIO, where responsibilities included architecture and design for autonomous driving and various sensor systems. Agrawal's career also includes significant roles at Apple as a Senior Hardware Design Engineer and at the Centre for Advanced Life Cycle Engineering as a Graduate Research Assistant, along with hands-on experience in electronics and instrumentation.
