Timur Tufail

Timur Tufail is a seasoned professional with a strong background in energy market strategy and business development, currently serving as the Utility & Energy Market Business Development Manager at General Motors since July 2025, focusing on energy storage and V2X solutions. Additionally, Tufail provides pro-bono advisory services to the U.S. Embassy and Consulate in Kazakhstan and Kyrgyz Republic. Previous experience includes a role as Sr. Program Manager at Hawaiian Electric, where Tufail led the Smart Charge Hawaii initiative, and advisory positions at Southern California Edison and APEC, among others, with a focus on energy procurement, corporate governance, and cross-border trade.
