Sunay Koray

Sunay Koray serves as the Chief Financial Officer, Chief Investment Officer, and Member of the Board of Directors at Generali Sigorta since April 2015, overseeing budget management, reporting, capital and solvency management, accounting, and strategic partnership development. Prior to this role, Sunay held various key positions at Aviva from October 2008 to April 2015, including Chief Executive Officer Ad Interim, General Manager, and Chief Financial Officer, where responsibilities encompassed financial reporting, budgeting, and investor relations. Earlier experience includes a role as Supervisor Auditor at BDO Turkey from October 2004 to October 2008, specializing in IFRS and USGAAP compliance. Sunay is currently pursuing a PhD in Economics at Istanbul University, building on prior academic achievements including a Master's in International Economics and a Bachelor's in Business Administration from Marmara University and Istanbul University, respectively.
