Michael Nally

Michael Nally is the CEO of Generate Biomedicines, Inc. since March 2021 and also serves as CEO and Partner at Flagship Pioneering. In addition, Michael Nally holds board positions at PPG Industries and Harbinger Health. From September 2016 to March 2021, Michael Nally was the Chief Marketing Officer for Human Health and President of Merck Vaccines at Merck. Previously, Michael Nally was the Managing Director for both UK and Ireland and Sweden at MSD from November 2011 to September 2016. Michael Nally's extensive career at Merck from 2003 to 2011 included various roles, culminating in Executive Director for Strategic Initiatives and Operations. Michael Nally earned an MBA in General Management from Harvard Business School and holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Middlebury College, along with a General Course in Accounting and Finance from The London School of Economics and Political Science.
