Sandy Serizier is a highly experienced scientist specializing in molecular cellular biology and biochemistry. Currently serving as a Senior Scientist at Generation Bio since September 2020, Sandy focuses on identifying novel signals in innate immunity, particularly in cell communication between non-professional phagocytes and dying cell populations in vivo. Prior to this role, Sandy held positions as a Postdoctoral Associate and Doctoral Student at Boston University, where research centered on signaling mechanisms in immune responses. Sandy's earlier experience includes a Research Assistant role at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, studying prolactin's role in the brain's stress axis, as well as an IMSD Fellow position at UMass Boston, exploring the localization of Notch receptors.
