Courtne Thomas-Washington

Courtne Thomas-Washington, Ed.D., serves as the Executive Director of Generation Citizen since January 2025 and has been the Founder/Director of Tutoring Service at Educational Elevation, Inc. since January 2005. Thomas-Washington's extensive expertise includes developing instructional programs, overseeing professional development, managing grant funding, and leading a team of educators across various roles, including Senior Director of Curriculum and Instruction at New York Edge and School Principal at the Bronx Global Learning Institute for Girls. With a solid educational background, including a Doctor of Education from Rowan University, Thomas-Washington has also contributed to the field as an Adjunct Faculty member and an Outreach Coordinator.
