Serena Jonas

Serena Jonas is currently serving as a Clinical Assistant and Medical Scribe at Generation Next Fertility since February 2023. Prior experience includes a role as a Student Researcher and Honors Project participant at Bowdoin College, where exploration of the relationship between chromatin conformation and evolutionary genetics was conducted, alongside full brain dissections of Drosophila and the use of ATAC-seq for genome-wide enhancer measurement. Additional experience encompasses serving as a COVID Care Courier, delivering support and supplies to students in isolation, and as a Caregiver providing medical and emotional support to elderly patients. Prior roles also include a General Chemistry Laboratory Teaching Assistant and Physician Shadowing at Tampa General Hospital, which involved patient interaction and observation of medical procedures. Education includes a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry from Bowdoin College, complemented by a minor in Theatre, and an International Baccalaureate Diploma from Hillsborough High School.
