James Rice is a consultant at Generation Ready. James previously worked at ITT Avionics from August 2001 to August 2003 as a Senior Member of Technical Staff. James developed requirements to integrate Suite of Integrated RF Countermeasures (SIRFC) with the Advance Threat Infrared Countermeasures / Common Missile Warning System (ATIRCM/CMWS), a Major Defense Acquisition Program (MDAP) for Army’s Longbow Apache and Comanche upgrade programs. Additionally, they provided systems engineering and integration support for the design, integration and test of SIRFC into Longbow Apache, MH47E, NH-90 and F-16C/D aircraft.

During their time at ITT Avionics, James also evaluated radar sensor and absorbing materials locations for chamber testing using aircraft mockups. James assisted in the analysis, documentation and implementation of system Test & Evaluation (T&E) requirements. Reviewing test objectives for both developmental and operational environments. Specified cable parameters (lengths, power levels, insertion loss, and sensitivity) to meet RF performance requirements. Additionally, they provided support in evaluating design changes and offered risk reductions / mitigation solutions to team.

James often interfaced with all members of program team, management, and technical staff to define and implement engineering solutions to meet team objectives. James represented ITT Industries at Design Reviews and Technical Interchange Meetings (TIMS). Furthermore, they developed Interface Control Documents defining software and hardware requirements

James Rice graduated from Tuskegee University with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
