Megan has worked within the educational field in a variety of capacities. Her experience in the classroom, work within a Superintendent’s Office, and time as a consultant has allowed her to develop a wide range of knowledge centered around student growth and development. In recent years, a shift in focus to curriculum development has brought a new perspective on ways to challenge and engage both students and teachers.
Megan worked for six years as a fourth-grade teacher developing learning strategies specifically for students with disabilities and English Language Learners. Applying the principles of her classroom, Megan believes in the benefits of being a life-long learner and enjoys expanding her knowledge of developments within the field of education. With this mindset, she has achieved a BSeD in Elementary and Special Education from St. John’s University and a MSeD from Boston College in Curriculum and Instruction.
