Wagdi Ben Yaala is a robotics engineer who has worked with multiple companies since 2013. In 2021, they became the Head Manager of Running Brains. From 2014 to 2021, they worked at Generation Robots as a Project Manager and Robotics Engineer. During their time there, they worked on applied robotics projects such as outdoor mobile robots and software development for robots like Baxter and Sawyer from Rethink Robotics. Wagdi also completed an internship at Generation Robots, where they integrated multiple vision algorithms and studied open source and industrial libraries. In 2013, they worked as a Student Intern at the Gps and Vehicle Dynamics Laboratory at Auburn University, where they worked on a project called \"throwbot\", a throwable robot. Wagdi installed a ROS OS on the robot and configured the GPS and IMU sensors. Wagdi also developed a web application on a tablet to control the robot.

Wagdi Ben Yaala obtained an Engineer's degree in Robotics from Polytech Paris UPMC between 2011 and 2014. Prior to that, they studied Physics, Mechanics, Electronics, and Computer Science at Pierre and Marie Curie University from 2009 to 2011. In 2019, they obtained a Self-Driving Car Engineer certification from Udacity. Wagdi also holds a TOEIC certification from the TOEIC Program.
