Uwe Betzin

Uwe Betzin has extensive experience in the field of user experience (UX) design and software development. Uwe is currently the Head of User Experience at generic.de software technologies AG, where they lead a team of six UX Designers and focuses on integrating UX seamlessly into software projects. Uwe is responsible for driving awareness of Enterprise UX in the industries they serve.

Prior to their current role, Uwe worked as a User Experience Designer and User Experience Consultant at generic.de software technologies AG, where they played a key role in establishing UX throughout the company from pre-sales to support. Uwe focused on proper product discovery, Lean UX, and Dual Track Agile during development and delivery.

Before joining generic.de software technologies AG, Uwe worked at SAP, starting as a Senior Software Developer and eventually transitioning to roles focused on user experience. During their time at SAP, Uwe designed Fiori apps for S/4HANA Advanced Variant Configuration, improving user productivity. Uwe also served as a trainer for the course "Design Eye Opener," which allowed non-designers to discuss, judge, and compare designs.

Uwe Betzin earned a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology and Business Administration from DHBW Mannheim between 2000 and 2003. Prior to that, they completed their Abitur at Kurpfalz-Gymnasium Schriesheim from 1990 to 1999.
