Deval Motka

Deval Motka serves as the VP and Chief Data Officer at Genesco since October 2022, with a strong passion for leveraging data to drive business success. Deval is also a Board Member at the Workforce Council of Southwest Ohio, contributing to employment generation and workforce reentry initiatives. Prior experience includes leadership roles at Rocket Companies, where Deval was the Executive Sponsor for the Multicultural Team Member Resource Network and Vice President of Rocket Data, overseeing data-driven strategies across various business units. Earlier roles include Director of Business Intelligence at The David J. Joseph Company, Manager of Business Technology Services at Independence Blue Cross, and various positions at Citibank, Comcast, and Cognizant. Deval holds an MBA in Finance and Information Systems from the University at Buffalo and has completed continuing education in Executive Leadership at Cornell University.
