Monica Devine-Haley is a seasoned art therapist with a strong background in integrative oncology at the University of Rochester since June 2021. In addition to this role, Monica has been a creative arts therapist at The Spotted Rabbit, LLC, and serves as a historical interpreter at Genesee Country Village & Museum since July 2020. Previous experience includes serving as a senior school-based therapist with Rochester Regional Health and as a program manager at Hillside Family of Agencies, where responsibilities included managing the RCSD Day Treatment program. Earlier roles included clinician positions focused on preventive services and outpatient mental health. Monica's foundational experience as a primary therapist at Unity Health involved providing individual and group therapy for children and adolescents. Monica holds a Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts from St. Lawrence University and a Master's degree in Art Therapy from Nazareth University.
Genesee Country Village & Museum
Encompassing more than 600 acres, the Genesee Country Village & Museum is one of the largest living history museums in the country. Located in the small hamlet of Mumford, New York, about 20 miles from Rochester, New York. First opened to the public in 1976, the authentic 19th-century Historic Village features costumed historians breathing life into relocated and restored historic homes, farms, shops, and other public buildings.
