Michael Moore

Michael Moore is an experienced railway professional currently serving as Trainmaster and Designated Supervisor of Locomotive Engineers at Aberdeen Carolina & Western Railway since May 2024, focusing on the safe and efficient operation of train services. Prior to this role, Michael held various positions including General Manager and Station Manager Trainee at Bonnie Plants, LLC, and spent over 15 years at Genesee & Wyoming Inc., where responsibilities included operations management, accident investigation, and compliance testing. Earlier experience includes working as an Electrician and Industrial Mechanic at Foster Farms. Michael holds degrees in Electrical & Instrumentation from Coastal Alabama Community College and Alabama Southern Community College, as well as a General Studies diploma from Wilcox Academy.
