Mireia Samitier Martí

Mireia Samitier Martí has a diverse work experience. Mireia began their career as a Student Intern at IDIBELL, where they conducted research on the role of MeCP2 in the circadian cycle in mouse models. Mireia then worked as a Student Intern at the Facultat de Medicina, Hospital Clínic, Universitat de Barcelona, where they completed their Master's thesis on the intracellular truncated form function of the VEGFR-1 receptor.

Afterwards, Mireia joined the Institute for Bioengineering of Catalonia (IBEC) as a Laboratory Assistant, contributing to various projects until 2018. In the same year, they transitioned to Genesis Biomed as a Consultant Assistant, and quickly progressed to the role of Consultant. Currently, Mireia holds the position of Senior Consultant at GENESIS Biomed, leveraging their expertise and experience to provide strategic guidance and support to clients.

Mireia Samitier Martí completed a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Genetics and Genomics from the Universitat de Barcelona from 2013 to 2014. Prior to that, they obtained a degree in Biología Molecular, Celular y de Sistemas (Graduado en Biología) from the Universitat de Barcelona, which they completed from 2009 to 2013. In terms of additional certifications, Mireia obtained a Certificate of Proficiency in English from the University of Cambridge in December 2011, as well as a Diploma de estudios en lengua frances (DELF) B2 from the Ministerio de Educación Nacional de Francia in June 2009.
