Head of Internal Audit at Genesis Digital Assets

Ekaterina Vinnik, FCCA has extensive work experience in internal audit and assurance services. Ekaterina is currently serving as the Head of Internal Audit at Genesis Digital Assets since March 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Director (remote) at K&V Audit and Assurance Services from July 2019 to November 2021.

From 2016 to 2019, Ekaterina held the role of Chief Internal Auditor at Highland Gold/ Russdragmet. Ekaterina also worked as a Project Manager at Arlan from March 2016 to June 2016. During the same year, they worked as a Freelance Consultant, providing finance and accounting advisory services to start-up project Pediatr247.ru and preparing requirements specification for business process automation.

Before these roles, Ekaterina served as the Chief Internal Auditor (Director on internal control and audit) at Airports of Regions, managing company from January 2012 to October 2015. Ekaterina was also the Internal Audit Manager at Vedis Group from February 2011 to December 2011.

Earlier in their career, Ekaterina worked at Baltika Breweries as the Head of internal audit department from November 2009 to January 2011. Ekaterina also worked at EvrazHolding as the Internal Audit Manager (Head of internal audit department) from December 2005 to November 2009.

Ekaterina started their career at PricewaterhouseCoopers, where they worked as a Senior Audit Consultant from September 2002 to December 2005.

Ekaterina Vinnik, FCCA received their Master's degree in Economics from the State University - Higher School of Economics, where they studied from 1996 to 2002. From 2002 to 2007, they pursued the ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) qualification at ICAEW (Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales). Additionally, they have obtained various certifications, including "Information Systems Auditing, Controls and Assurance" from Coursera in May 2020, "ICAgile Certified Professional" from ICAgile in February 2020, "Python for Data Science and AI" from Coursera in December 2019, and several others from Coursera and Moscow School of Management SKOLKOVO in 2019 and 2018.
