Mark Richardson

Mark Richardson has extensive experience in the field of cybersecurity and network infrastructure. Mark currently holds the position of Head of Group Security at Genesis, where they are responsible for ensuring the security of the company's systems and information. Prior to this, they worked as a Principle Consultant in Cyber Security at SecureTech Consulting and as a Principle Security Consultant in vCISO at Cyber Research. Mark also served in various roles at SkyCity Entertainment Group, including Product Owner and ICT Service Owner in Group Security. Mark has a strong background in managing and securing network infrastructure, as demonstrated by their role as a Digital Networks Manager at Air New Zealand and as a Network and Security Engineer at Vero Insurance New Zealand. Mark's expertise extends to solution design, implementation, and technical support, as showcased in their positions at Network Edge. Mark Richardson attended Kings College Auckland, where they completed their secondary education in an unknown field of study. Following that, they enrolled at The University of Auckland from 1996 to 1999, obtaining a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a focus on International Business and Management. Mark then pursued further education and earned a Master of International Business degree from The University of Auckland, specializing in Customer Experience and Business Strategy, from 1999 to 2001.
