Jeffrey W. Gifford, CIH, CSP has a comprehensive work experience in the field of health, safety, security, and environmental (HSSE). Jeffrey W. started their career as an Industrial Hygienist at Exxon in 1990 and then moved on to Texaco, where they held the positions of Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Specialist and Team Leader, EHS. At Texaco, they led a team responsible for creating and delivering new EHS process improvements for worldwide upstream operations, as well as providing behavior-based safety and health support for gas processing plants and production operations.

In 2001, Gifford joined Chevron as an EHS Advisor for major capital projects, managing an EHS program for a West African offshore oilfield project. Jeffrey W. later became the Manager, Environment and Health, overseeing a team responsible for ensuring regulatory and corporate compliance in the Republic of Kazakhstan. During this time, Gifford played a key role in supporting a $5 billion development project and assisting Russian business partners in obtaining World Bank funding.

In 2006, Gifford joined Enable Midstream Partners (formerly Enogex LLC) as the Director of Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS). Jeffrey W. successfully managed a department of technical professionals providing various EHS services and led corporate-wide initiatives for the Safety Leadership Council, Sustainability Committee, Incident and Injury-Free (IIF) process, and midstream trade association activities.

Currently, Gifford serves as the Vice President of Health, Safety, Security, and Environmental (HSSE) at Genesis Energy, L.P. In this role, they provide HSSE leadership and strategic direction for a growth-oriented, midstream energy company operating in multiple regions across the U.S.

Throughout their career, Gifford has consistently demonstrated strong leadership and expertise in the HSSE field, overseeing numerous projects and initiatives while ensuring compliance, safety, and sustainability. Jeffrey W. has accumulated diverse experience in various sectors of the energy industry, including oil and gas, natural gas, and midstream operations.

Jeffrey W. Gifford, CIH, CSP holds a Master of Science degree in Occupational & Environmental Health, which they obtained from the University of Oklahoma in 1989. Prior to this, they pursued their Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, Botany, and Environmental Science from Oklahoma City University. Jeffrey obtained the certification of Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) from the Board for Global EHS Credentialing (BGC®) in July 1994. Jeffrey W. also holds the certification of Certified Safety Professional from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals.
