Andrew Huffman

Andrew Huffman has a diverse work experience. Andrew'smost recent role (from January 2022 onwards) is as an Analyst in Decision Science and Digital Product Strategy at Genesis Financial Solutions. Prior to this, they worked as a Jr. Risk Analyst at the same company from March 2021 to January 2022.

In the academic field, Andrew held several roles at Portland State University. Andrew was an Adjunct Researcher from September to December 2020, a Graduate Research Assistant from September 2018 to September 2020, and a Teaching Assistant from September 2018 to June 2019.

Andrew was also involved with the Earthquake Engineering Research Institute, where they served as the PSU EERI Chapter President from October 2019 to September 2020, and as the PSU EERI Seminar Coordinator from October 2018 to September 2019.

Additionally, Andrew gained experience as an Intern at SSOE Group from June to September 2017.

Andrew'searliest work experience was as a Peer Mentor at Clackamas Community College. In this role, they provided extensive individual and group tutoring in the math department, coordinated in-class activities, graded assignments, developed learning center resources, and promoted the math department. Andrew held this position from September 2014 to June 2016.

Andrew Huffman has a strong educational background in civil engineering. Andrew started their education at Clackamas Community College from 2013 to 2016 where they obtained an A.S. degree in Civil Engineering. Andrew then continued their studies at Portland State University, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from 2017 to 2018. Following this, they pursued higher education at Portland State University again, completing their Master of Science degree in Civil Engineering from 2018 to 2020.

In addition to their academic degrees, Andrew Huffman also obtained a certification in SQL for Data Science through edX in February 2021.
