Alex Paidas

Alex Paidas has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Most recently, they are currently working as the Vice President and Head of Corporate Communications at Genesis Global since March 2022. Prior to this, Alex held various positions at IHS Markit, including Executive Director and Head of Corporate Communications for the Financial Services Division, as well as Director and Head of Corporate Communications for the Trade Technology Division. They were responsible for managing communications and media relations, leading teams, and promoting the company's services. Before joining IHS Markit, Alex was the President/Owner of The Clarion Group Public Relations, where they built and maintained a successful corporate PR agency specializing in financial services clients. Additionally, they worked at Ketchum Public Relations as a Vice President, supervising corporate practice accounts, and at Texaco as a Business Development Manager. Earlier in their career, Alex served as a Senior Account Executive at Fleishman-Hillard.

Alex Paidas earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Trinity College-Hartford, where they studied from 1986 to 1990. Later, they pursued an MBA in International Business from Thunderbird School of Global Management from 1996 to 1998.
