Derek Lowry

Derek Lowry has a diverse and extensive work experience in finance and accounting. Derek currently holds the position of VP Finance - Global Controller at Genesis - Code Less, Do More since October 2021. Prior to this role, they worked at MongoDB where they held various positions including Senior Director - International Finance from February 2020 to October 2021, Director of Finance from August 2017 to February 2020, and International Financial Controller from June 2015 to July 2017. Before joining MongoDB, Derek worked at Curvature as a Finance Manager EMEA from May 2012 to May 2015 and as a Financial Accountant EMEA from November 2009 to April 2012. Derek began their career at WHK Horwath where they served as a Corporate Finance/Audit Supervisor from May 2007 to May 2009. Derek also gained experience as an Accountant at John P. Greely & Company from June 2003 to April 2007 while training to become a Chartered Accountant in Ireland.

Derek Lowry completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Finance & Economics at Maynooth University from 1999 to 2002.
