Sebastian Galvao

Sebastian Galvao has a diverse work experience spanning over various companies and roles. At Genesis Global, they served as the Head of Software Engineering, leading development teams and researching Generative AI for developers. Prior to that, as the VP of Software Development Americas, they built and led high-performing teams and delivered successful projects in the financial industry. Sebastian also worked as a Software Engineering Manager, implementing custom solutions for clients in the financial services sector. Previously, at Qualitis Consultoria e Treinamentos, they co-founded the company and served as the CTO, providing Magnolia CMS consulting and technical advisory services. Sebastian also worked as the Lead of Operations Support System (OSS) Mediation Layer at Ericsson, where they designed and implemented key components. Other roles include Software Development Manager at Bank BTG Pactual, Software Development Manager for Retail Brokerage Services at HSBC Bank Brazil, Professor and Java Instructor at Faculdade Impacta Tecnologia, Staff Software Engineer at IBM, Computer Science MSc student at UFSCar - Alumni, and Software Engineer at HSBC and Positivo Tecnologia. Sebastian Galvao has a Master's degree in Computer Science with a specialization in Artificial Intelligence from UFSCar - Alumni. Sebastian also holds a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Paraná. In addition, they are a Certified Scrum Master, obtained from Caelum in 2008.
