Andrew Rava

Andrew Rava is a Senior Scientist in the Epidemiology department at Genesis Research. Andrew has been with the company for four years, during which time they have held the titles of Principal Scientist, Senior Scientist, and Scientist. In their current role, Andrew is responsible for protocol development for real-world evidence studies analyzing HEOR and epidemiologic evidence using various databases, including IBM MarketScan, Explorys, Komodo Health, Symphony, and registry data. Andrew also assists in developing study concept sheets and creating slide decks interpreting the statistical analysis results and epidemiologic calculations for real-world studies across many disease areas.

Before joining Genesis Research, Andrew was an Analyst at Value Strategy Solutions where they were responsible for enhancing and building real-world evidence capabilities for clients with medical devices/digital solutions in diabetes through the creation of an internal website and standard real-world evidence processes. Andrew also created a value visualizing slide deck for a hemophilia product, providing in depth description of the unmet need, burden of illness, clinical and economic evidence while adapting key messaging to different markets (US, Italy, Global).

Andrew is currently heading a manuscript update analyzing the dose effect in a treatment regimen for metastatic pancreatic cancer and is also working on developing a clinical study report for a real-world study in insomnia patients. Andrew has presented posters on metastatic pancreatic cancer and sickle cell disease at the Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy 2018 conference and the American Society of Hematology 2019 conference, respectively. Andrew has also published manuscripts in the Journal of Managed Care Pharmacy and American Society of Hematology Blood journal.
