Chris Pashos

Chief Medical Officer & Head, Research Partnerships at Genesis Research

Chris Pashos is the current Chief Medical Officer & Head of Research Partnerships at Genesis Research. Chris has held various executive positions at AbbVie, Takeda, United BioSource Corporation, Abt Bio-Pharma Solutions, Inc., and the International Society for Pharmacoeconomics and Outcomes Research (ISPOR). Pashos began their career as a Government Affairs Intern at Anheuser-Busch Companies in 1984. Chris then became a faculty member at Harvard Medical School from 1989 to 1996. In 1995, they joined Abt Associates as a Vice President and held this position until 2008 when they became Vice-President of HERQuLES at Abt Bio-Pharma Solutions, Inc. Pashos became President of ISPOR in 2008 and held this position until 2009. In 2010, they joined United BioSource Corporation as Vice President and held this position until 2014 when they became Vice President, Global Outcomes and Epidemiology Research at Takeda. In 2018, Pashos moved to AbbVie as Vice President, Global Evidence Strategy and held this position until December 2019. Chris assumed their current role at Genesis Research in 2020.

Chris Pashos has a PhD in Public Policy from Harvard University and a BS in International Security from the United States Naval Academy.
