Simon Hawkins

Simon Hawkins is a Clinical Development Physician at Genespire since July 2023, bringing extensive experience in clinical research and development from previous roles such as Vice President of Clinical Research at AVROBIO and Senior Clinical Development Director at Orchard Therapeutics, overseeing significant cell and gene therapy programs. Prior to these positions, Simon led clinical development in immunoinflammation at GSK and gained surgical training in the NHS. Simon holds a PhD in Medicine and an MD from the University of Bristol, along with a solid academic foundation in sciences from the Royal Grammar School, Newcastle Upon Tyne.
